  • ½ cup Easter sprinkles
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9” round cake pan with foil and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  3. Gradually incorporate baking soda, salt, cream of tartar, and flour until just combined. Gently fold in M&Ms and sprinkles.
  4. Press the dough into the prepared pan and bake for 19-22 minutes until edges are golden brown. Let cool completely before frosting.
  5. For frosting, beat softened butter until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and heavy cream to desired consistency.
