  • 12.8 oz hot fudge sauce
  • 3.4 oz instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 30 crushed Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cool whip (thawed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the cake mix.
  2. Grease your baking pan and prepare the chocolate cake mix as directed on the box.
  3. Bake the cake until cooked through (about 25 minutes), then let it cool completely.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  5. Crumble half of the cooled chocolate cake into a trifle dish or serving bowl.
  6. Layer with half of the hot fudge sauce, followed by half of the pudding mixture and half of the crushed Oreos.
  7. Repeat these layers with remaining ingredients.
  8. Spread thawed cool whip on top and garnish with extra crushed Oreos.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
