Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large hard-boiled eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1.5 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 small carrot (for decoration)
  • 6 black olives (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs. Slice off a thin layer from the base of each egg to create a stable platform.
  2. Cut off the top third of each egg, remove the yolk, and place it in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mash the yolks and mix with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and salt until smooth. Transfer to a Ziploc bag for piping.
  4. Pipe the filling into each egg base and gently place the tops back on.
  5. For decoration, use a straw to create eyes from olives, and cut carrot rings into sixths for beaks. Assemble the eyes and beaks on each chick.
