  • 225 g whole milk
  • 30 g fresh yeast (or 10 g active dry yeast or instant yeast)
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • 540 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 100 g butter (room temperature)
  • 250 g blueberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 4 tsp water
  • 30 g cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp blueberry jam (reserved from the filling)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 120 g powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by heating milk and dissolving fresh yeast in it. Add sugar, flour, eggs, and salt; mix until combined.
  2. Gradually add butter while mixing until smooth and elastic.
  3. Allow the dough to rise until doubled in size.
  4. Make the filling by cooking blueberries with sugar, lemon juice, and spices until thickened.
  5. Roll out the dough, spread the blueberry filling evenly, then roll up and cut into equal pieces.
  6. Let rolls rise again before baking at 190ºC (375ºF) for 21–22 minutes.
  7. Prepare the cream cheese glaze by mixing ingredients until smooth and drizzle over cooled rolls.
