  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and sugar. Stir in instant yeast and let sit for 5 minutes. Add in egg and mix.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt until a dough forms; knead until smooth (about 5–7 minutes).
  3. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, chopped strawberries, and strawberry jam until smooth.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter over it.
  6. Evenly distribute the strawberry cheesecake filling and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Roll tightly from one edge and cut into twelve pieces. Place on a greased baking sheet to rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. For the glaze, whisk together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract; adjust consistency with milk as needed.
