1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cumin
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
Salt & pepper (to taste)
1 tbsp lime juice
1 ripe avocado
½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
2 tbsp lime juice
1 clove garlic (minced)
¼ cup cilantro (chopped)
6 small corn or flour tortillas
1 cup shredded red cabbage
½ cup shredded carrot
1 small jalapeño (thinly sliced, optional)
Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Season the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and lime juice. Marinate for 10 minutes.
Blend the avocado with Greek yogurt (or sour cream), lime juice, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, and salt until smooth.
Cook marinated shrimp in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
Warm tortillas and assemble by adding shredded cabbage and cooked shrimp. Top with avocado crema and garnish with fresh cilantro.
