- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp vinegar (instead of Worcestershire sauce)
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 12 oz biscuits (cut into quarters)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to the skillet; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in quartered biscuits until coated.
- Pour into the baking pan and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 28-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
