  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • Sweet potatoes for topping

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube sweet potatoes. Boil in water until tender (15-20 minutes); drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add garlic, carrot, and celery; cook until softened.
  3. Stir in tomato paste, herbs, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and broth. Simmer for about 10 minutes; add frozen peas.
  4. Mash boiled sweet potatoes until creamy; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread lamb filling in a baking dish; top with sweet potato mash and smooth out.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden on top.
