  • 1 cup cold butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 374°F (190°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla seeds until frothy; add red food coloring.
  3. Sift in flour and cocoa powder; fold gently to maintain airiness.
  4. Spread batter evenly in the pan and bake for about 20 minutes until set.
  5. Cool the sponge on parchment and cover with plastic wrap until completely cool.
  6. Beat cream cheese, heavy cream, and honey until fluffy for the filling.
  7. Trim sponge edges; spread filling evenly and roll tightly into log shape. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
