  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 sweet onions
  • ½ cup apple cider
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry
  • 1½ cups ricotta cheese
  • 1⅓ cups pumpkin purée
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh sage leaves
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crisp; set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, caramelize sliced onions over medium-low heat for 25–30 minutes, adding apple cider at the end.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry on floured surface and prepare baking sheets.
