Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 can (15 oz) pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal after baking.
  2. In one bowl, mix together melted butter, sugars, and pumpkin puree until smooth. In another bowl, combine dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, spices, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture while mixing gently until just combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven for about 60-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth. Adjust consistency by adding more syrup if needed.
  5. Once the bread has cooled completely, drizzle the maple glaze over it. Allow it to set before slicing.
