  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red apple vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 lemon, sliced (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, red apple vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2 to 4 hours).
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove chicken from marinade and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Spoon the feta mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and feta is golden.
  6. Let rest for about 5 minutes before serving garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
