  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 13 ounces kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 1 head broccoli florets
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Cooked white rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  2. Place shrimp in a zip-top bag and add half of the sauce. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli and cook for about 5 minutes; remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and brown the sausage slices for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Add marinated shrimp to the skillet (discard leftover marinade) and cook until pink and opaque (about 2 minutes per side).
  6. Pour in reserved sauce and let simmer for 3-5 minutes. Toss in cooked broccoli until well coated.
  7. Serve over cooked white rice.
