  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • 1 cup broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice; set aside.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook salmon skin-side down for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, pour the prepared glaze into the pan and spoon it over the salmon as it thickens.
  4. While salmon cooks, steam broccoli in a steamer or microwave-safe dish with a splash of water and pinch of salt for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Plate the glazed salmon alongside steamed broccoli, drizzling any remaining glaze on top if desired.
