  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 23 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a Bundt or loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
  3. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk into the batter until just combined.
  4. Prepare the cinnamon swirl by mixing brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the pan, layer half of the cinnamon mixture, followed by remaining batter and then remaining cinnamon mixture on top; gently swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, honey, and milk until smooth; drizzle over warm cake.
