  • 12 tostada shells
  • 1 ½ lb raw peeled shrimp
  • 2 avocados
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 34 tomatoes
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • Fresh cilantro
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 small bunch cilantro (minced)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • ½ medium red onion (minced)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Toss shrimp until coated and let marinate.
  2. Mash avocados in another bowl; mix with cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine diced tomatoes, minced garlic, jalapeño pepper, red onion, and cilantro for pico de gallo.
  4. Preheat a grill pan over medium heat; spray with cooking spray. Cook marinated shrimp for about 1-2 minutes per side until opaque.
  5. Assemble tostadas by topping each shell with guacamole followed by shrimp and pico de gallo.
