  • 1 cup Buttermilk (Room temperature)
  • 1 cup Hot coffee (Enhances chocolate flavor)
  • 8 oz Semisweet chocolate (Melted and cooled)
  • 2 cups Heavy whipping cream (Cold)
  • 1 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Unflavored Vegan gelling agent (Optional stabilizer)
  • 6 oz Bittersweet chocolate (Finely chopped)
  • ¾ cup Heavy cream (Heated)
  • 1 tbsp Light corn syrup (For shine)
  • 1 tbsp Butter (Room temperature)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare your baking pans by greasing or lining with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and hot coffee until smooth.
  4. Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients gently to avoid overmixing.
  5. Divide the batter between prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes; cool completely on wire racks.
