  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup strawberry jam or preserves
  • 2024 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add a dollop of strawberry jam or diced strawberries.
  2. Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface, spoon about 1 teaspoon of filling into the center, moisten the edges with water, fold and seal tightly.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry wontons in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with whipped cream and extra strawberry jam.
