  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a medium-sized ceramic baking dish.
  2. Slice the potatoes thinly using a mandolin or sharp knife.
  3. In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter with minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in flour to form a roux, cooking for 1-2 minutes.

  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes; then remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes until golden brown.
