Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (cut into bite-size pieces)
  • 12 oz medium pasta shells
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, reserving ¼ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, and paprika; sear until browned and cooked to desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes). Remove steak from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; whisk until smooth.
  4. Add cooked pasta to the skillet; toss until well coated in the sauce. If necessary, use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
  5. Return steak bites to the skillet; stir gently to combine and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
