Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 sheets frozen filo pastry (thawed)
  • 50 g butter (melted)
  • 250 g brie cheese (cut into long slices)
  • 275 g cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup flaked almonds
  • 1 tbsp black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / 350 F and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the thawed filo sheets into 36 squares by dividing each sheet lengthwise into thirds and then halving them widthwise.
  3. Lay one pastry square flat, brush lightly with melted butter, and place a slice of brie at one end. Add 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce and almond flakes. Roll tightly and pinch ends to seal.
  4. Repeat until all squares are filled. Place on lined trays, brush with leftover butter, sprinkle with black sesame seeds, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Optionally garnish with fresh herbs like rosemary or chives.
