  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar (for swirl)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternating with sour cream until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the Bundt pan. Combine remaining granulated sugar with ground cinnamon and sprinkle half over the batter. Add remaining batter and top with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture; gently swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
