  • 500g chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Cook rice as per package instructions and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook until lightly golden brown; remove from the pan.
  3. In the same pan, sauté sliced onion and minced garlic until fragrant. Add broccoli and mushrooms; stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  4. Return chicken to the pan, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and optional chili flakes; mix well.
  5. Pour in the cornstarch slurry while stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice.
