  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Velveeta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat; cook chicken until golden brown.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet; add remaining butter and minced garlic to sauté briefly. Pour in heavy cream and stir continuously.
  4. Gradually add Velveeta and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth. If too thick, add reserved pasta water.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with sauce and return chicken to skillet; simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot topped with fresh parsley.
