  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired). Stir until well mixed.
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Cover or seal in a bag; refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and lightly spray the basket.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade; coat with cornstarch evenly.
  5. Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer; cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp of 165°F).
  6. Serve garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
